Oldham Liberal Democrat Leader councillor Howard Sykes MBE has blasted Oldham Council over a rising number of blocked grids across the Borough.
Oldham Liberal Democrats have challenged the Labour and Independent Administration at Oldham Council to “stand up” to the government over planned changes to Personal Independence Payments (PIP).
Oldham Liberal Democrat Leader councillor Howard Sykes MBE is demanding to know “where and when” Oldham’s share of the governments’ promised £1.6 billion for pothole repairs is going to be spent.
It’s been more than a month since news emerged that councillors in Oldham have been overpaid since 2022, but as of yet no action has been taken by the Labour Council and their so-called Independent allies.
Oldham Council have confirmed that councillors have been wrongly paid since 2022 but have yet to confirm by how much or who is affected.
